I had a trip to Udaipur back in Jan 2019. Udaipur is a tourist city which is just 4 hours away from my place. It is called "Venice of the east" because it is indeed a romantic city. It has old school royal palace in the middle of a lake which lights up at night and looks very pretty. It has the city palace which has the royal courtyard. There is a museum which has old classic cars. There is also an art museum which has the most exquisite modern art.

I lived in a hostel sharing bunk beds with many others with whom I made good friends with. We all traveled to different places sharing costs. Over all, Udaipur is an excellent place for budget travel.
