I visited Jaipur in 2018 for 3 days. It is called the "pink city" of India. I never realized how beautiful it was until I visited there. The monuments there were structured in a very specific way. There is also a place which has the world's largest clock. Back then, the kings used to construct monument-like sundial to check time and pursue other astronomical interests.

The city is also the city of gems. It is the jewellery capital. There are kilometers long rows of stores which sell gem-stone based jewellery. I personally bought plenty of rings for myself. The city is deep history and I am glad that the government and authorities have done a decent job in maintaining its heritage.
