Mental Health

There have been plenty of discussion on mental health. We all know that taking care of our mental health is as important as our physical health, but we still don't understand how deadly it can be if we don't.

An estimated 21.0 million adults in the United States had at least one major depressive episode. This number represented 8.4% of all U.S. adults. An estimated 19.1% of U.S. adults had any anxiety disorder in the past year.

My guess would be the number is only going to increase. Which is scary.

Untreated mental illness can have a snowfall-like effect in our lives where if we fail to fulfill one duty in our lives, it can impact all other aspects like work, relations with our family/friends, finances, etc. Which is why treating it early is extremely important. Help is available these days but nowhere near as it should be. Unfortunately, help is not accessible to everyone who needs it. But, if you do have the access, overusing them is always better than under using them. I say this from experience.
